Abstract Psychological suzhi may serve as a protective factor against various psychological issues, mitigating their adverse effects. This study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of the Psychological Suzhi Questionnaire for Iranian adolescents. The research was conducted as a quantitative descriptive study among second-cycle high school students in Ardakan County during the academic year 2023-2024. Sampling was performed through volunteer participation. The research instrument included the Psychological Suzhi Questionnaire (Huo et al., 2017). Data were analyzed using SPSS 26 and AMOS 24 software. Results indicated that the Iranian version of the Psychological Suzhi Questionnaire, consistent with its original version, comprises 24 items and three factors. Internal consistency of the questionnaire was assessed through the computation of correlation coefficients for each item, with values exceeding 0.30. Confirmatory factor analysis revealed that fit indices of the model were satisfactory, and all factor loadings were above 0.40. The Cronbach's alpha coefficients for cognitive quality (0.82), individuality (0.82), adaptability (0.83), and overall psychological suzhi (0.91) were obtained. Based on the findings, the short form of the Psychological Suzhi Questionnaire is a suitable tool for assessing the psychological quality of Iranian adolescents.

Abstract The purpose of the current research was to build a scale for measuring moral values based on the theoretical strategies of Imam Ali (a.s.) in Nahj al-Balagha and to examine its psychometric properties. After designing the model of moral values based on Islamic sources, especially Nahj al-Balaghe, a questionnaire of 47 questions on the Likert scale was designed to measure these values. In the following, content and construct validity, factor analysis method and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were used to check the psychometric properties of the designed questionnaire. In order to examine the psychometric characteristics of the 47-question questionnaire, this questionnaire was implemented on a population of 100 girls aged 21-23 years old in Isfahan city, who were selected by convenience sampling. Data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and Cronbach's alpha. The results showed that the model questionnaire of moral values based on the theoretical strategies of Imam Ali (AS) in Nahj al-Balagheh has reliability (0.979). The evaluation of the confirmatory factor analysis model showed that the moral values questionnaire based on the theoretical strategies of Imam Ali (a.s.) in Nahj al-Balagheh has an acceptable fit. The simultaneous validity of this test with the list of moral values of Muslim youth has been obtained through Pearson correlation (0.623). Therefore, the developed test has the necessary psychometric properties.

Abstract This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of self-compassionate training on academic motivation and resilience of the students In the conditions of the Covid-19 crisis. The research was quasi-experimental with a pre-test group and a post-test with a control group. And the tools used in this research were: Harter's academic motivation questionnaire, Connor and Davidson's resilience scale. The data were analyzed using classical independent t and paired t analyzes and SPSS software. The sample consists of two classes of 40 students in the 11th grade in the secondary school of Mahdiyeh city of Karaj, who were studying online in the academic year 2020-2021, and were selected using available sampling method. The results of training on the experimental group after 18 sessions showed an increase in students' resilience, but it did not affect their academic motivation. Based on these findings, it seems that there are various factors in the condition of Covid-19 that occur for various reasons. and has had an impact on the results. Self-compassion should be inculcated on a wider level. Among other things, these trainings can be done comprehensively or independently, on students' parents or school staff. The results of this research can be given to education officials in critical situations like Covid-19

Abstract In recent years, the positive impact of participation in charitable activities on the happiness of the contributing individual has been widely acknowledged by the public, self-help groups, and social organizations. This is in contrast to some studies which suggest that happier individuals tend to be more generous and more actively involved in charitable activities. Based on this, the primary objective of this study is to examine the positive and cyclical feedback between participation in charitable activities and the feeling of happiness. This study is a survey-based research using descriptive-analytical methods. The statistical population includes all citizens aged 15 and above in the city of Kashan, and the sample size was estimated using the assumptions of the Sample Power software. Accordingly, 220 questionnaires were shared online within the statistical population and completed by the participants. The findings of the study show a positive and significant relationship between the level of participation in charitable activities and the feeling of happiness (r = 0.359), indicating that increased participation in charitable activities is associated with higher happiness levels in the community. Furthermore, the analysis of the recursive model suggests a bidirectional relationship between the two variables—participation in charitable activities and happiness—meaning that these variables mutually reinforce each other. The stability index of 0.247 also indicates the establishment of equilibrium in this relationship, referring to the continued and sustainable effect of this mutual influence between the variables.
The results of this study highlight the importance of participating in charitable activities to enhance happiness on both individual and societal levels. Therefore, it is recommended that policymakers and social institutions design programs to facilitate citizens' participation in charitable activities so that this positive cycle is reinforced within society.

Abstract Aim: The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in reducing feelings of loneliness and positive/negative affect in depressed patients visiting psychological centers in Dezful. Method: This applied research was a single-subject quasi-experimental design without a control group. The statistical population consisted of depressed patients visiting psychological centers in Dezful, who were diagnosed with depression, loneliness, and positive and negative affect based on the Beck Depression Inventory and a psychiatric diagnosis. The participant in this study was a 29-year-old female. To collect data, the Loneliness Scale by Russell et al. (1978) and the Positive and Negative Affect Scale by Watson, Clark, and Tellegen (1988) were used. In this study, brain stimulation was applied through transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) with a weak current of 2 mA for 20 minutes, administered for 12 days. Findings: The results indicated that transcranial stimulation was effective in reducing depression in the post-test compared to the pre-test (p < 0.05), with a 44% improvement in depression. Furthermore, transcranial stimulation was effective in reducing loneliness (p < 0.05), with a 24% improvement in loneliness in the pre-test and a 41% improvement in the post-test. However, the stimulation had no significant effect on positive and negative affect. Conclusion: It seems that transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) can play a significant role in reducing depression and loneliness and improving positive and negative affect. Health professionals can consider incorporating this method into therapeutic interventions.
